The “Till Death Do Us Part” campaign, which we realized for the Autonomous Women’s Center together with colleagues from McCann Belgrade and UM Belgrade, won a Bronze Effie in the Non-profit category at the Effie Awards Serbia 2026 ceremony.
This project brought together women’s organizations from eight countries in the region around a common goal – to send the message that femicide is not a sudden act, but the consequence of ongoing violence that persists and sends warning signs. Designers from each of the participating countries created a black wedding dress as a powerful and symbolic warning about the most tragic outcome of intimate partner violence.
“Being part of a campaign that brought such an important social issue into focus at the regional level was a great responsibility, one we took seriously from day one. The black wedding dress was not just a symbol, but a call to recognize violence before it is too late. When a message of such weight reaches people, raises awareness and encourages action, we know that the most important goal has been achieved. The Effie is a meaningful confirmation of that,” said Nevena Sekulić, PR Account Manager at Two Rivers.
Through PR support for the campaign, as well as for the event at which it was launched, Two Rivers contributed to bringing the message about the importance of recognizing early signs of violence, the responsibility of those around victims, and timely support for women to a wider audience.
We would like to thank our partners Universal Media and NN Media, as well as all organizations and designers who contributed to the realization of this campaign.
